Biography
Born January 11, 1984 in Oran Algeria, Hichem Chakour a.k.a Dj Chakour Started in mid 90’s as much as a hiphop dancer and Crates Digger term used to vinyl record collectors. Inspired by artists from the first generation of Hip-hop culture and funk soul.
In the year 2000, the Art of DJing and Turntablism began. Based on years of experience and practice.
His first mixtape released in 2016 titled PURE BBOYS a mix of jazz soul funk and up tempo afrobeat dedicated to Bboys. And in that same year he collaborated with the many local artist such as rap group TOX , Gourbillas etc .. Hichem Chakour is not just a simple deejay, he is known for his talent for sampling and producing Hip-Hop.
