Biography

DJ KUT’EFFEKT started out as a breakdancer in the 1980s with the Aktuel Force dance crew before becoming a DJ. He became interested in DJing after watching a French TV show called DMC with DJ Deenasty as a guest! From that moment on, he decided to become a DJ and invest in DJ equipment.

He decided to enter the French DJ Championship, training and preparing with DJ L-F pee in 1998! At the same time, he joined Radio FM Génération and became the DJ for the French rap groups “Afrojazz” and “Lamifa.” and collaborated with MC Solaar on his album and a compilation released by Wagram Music, available worldwide.

After years of intense training, he was ready for his first DJ championship in France. DJ KUT EFFEKT was the first French DJ to incorporate scratching into House Music at the DMC DJ Championships.

After his successes at the DJ championships, DJ KUT’EFFEKT was invited to DJ in mixé in clubs in Paris. Following this success, he was contacted to join the first European tour of the group Dilated Peoples with Defari. With his talent, DJ KUT’EFFEKT was invited to perform at major events in Switzerland and Norway.
