DJ Kerosin

Biography

My Name is DJ Kerosin. I was Born and raised in Germany. I work and live in Essen City.

I’ve been interested in Hip Hop culture since I was 15. I tried out all disciplines. I painted graffiti, tried out being a MC and stuck with DJing. Ok, I briefly touched on breaking, but I was never talented enough to really pursue it for a long time. Unfortunately, I never really experienced the vinyl era.

I’m a child of the digital age, so I started playing CDs back then. In 2008 I sold all of my DJ equipment because my music room had to be converted into a children’s room.

In 2017 I fully equipped myself again and started DJing alongside my main job. I was and am not a club DJ. I am a mobile DJ and mainly play at private weddings, birthdays and graduation parties etc.

Today I am the proud owner of two Technics 1210s that I completely restored myself. For use at home I have the Rane Seventy Two and two Rane Twelve. For mobile use I travel with the Rane One. Music is my great passion and I’m currently expanding my record collection.
