The Neo Soul Revolutionaries Announce 2027 Debut EP

The Neo Soul Revolutionaries are preparing their debut EP for January 1, 2027, bringing together four U.S.-based performers around a shared interest in classic soul, contemporary R&B and hiphop. The planned release and its date are outlined in advance promotional material supplied for the project.

Four Artists, One New Collective

The lineup includes Homiletix from Florida, Angel Mecole from Tampa, OG Auto from Waco, Texas, and Ceajae from Atlanta. Working as The Neo Soul Revolutionaries, the artists describe an approach rooted in soul traditions while drawing on the different vocal, lyrical and rhythmic styles associated with R&B and hiphop.

The collective uses the motto “We Hit Different” to express its musical direction. Rather than presenting the EP as the work of a single lead performer, the announcement places the shared identity of the four contributors at the centre of the project.

Early Song Titles and a Spoken-Word Introduction

According to the announcement, the EP is expected to include songs titled “Still Luv Us” and “The Wake Up Call”. Spoken-word artist Big Rube is also named as a contributor to the project’s introduction. Recording is credited in the supplied material to Tribe Life Studios Worldwide.

A complete tracklist, final release links and audio previews have not yet been independently confirmed for this report. The material is therefore best understood as an advance announcement, not a review of the finished EP.

Existing Connections Across the Artists

The project builds on an already documented connection between some of its participants. In July 2026, DJ-League covered “They Still Talkin” by Homiletix featuring Big Mike and Ceajae. That earlier collaboration offers a verifiable point of reference for listeners discovering the names behind the new collective; it should not be confused with a track from the forthcoming EP.

Homiletix and OG Auto also maintain public DJ-League artist profiles, connecting this announcement to existing artist coverage in Florida and Texas. The collective’s proposed debut represents a new collaboration, while the January release date remains subject to final confirmation by the artists and distribution platforms.
