Rock The Bells Announces First R&B Cruise for 2027

Rock The Bells is expanding its live music experience with the announcement of its first dedicated R&B cruise. Presented in partnership with Sixthman, the Rock The Bells Presents: I Need Luv Cruise will take place from November 15–19, 2027, sailing from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, aboard the Norwegian Jewel.

The four-night event will bring together established R&B artists, dedicated DJ sets and music-focused experiences, marking a new chapter for a platform widely associated with HipHop culture.

R&B Icons Across Generations

The announced lineup features an extensive selection of artists representing different generations of R&B.

Tank, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Mýa, Ginuwine, K. Michelle, Eric Benét, Kenny Lattimore, Eric Bellinger and Kindred The Family Soul are among the confirmed performers.

The lineup connects influential voices from the 1990s and 2000s with artists from more recent R&B generations. Jagged Edge is also scheduled for a special performance during the port visit.

Beyond the concerts, the organizers are planning themed parties, intimate artist experiences and activities focused on music, relationships and shared cultural experiences.

Bryan Michael Cox, DJ Miss Milan and DJ Aktive Join the Lineup

DJs are also an integral part of the newly announced event.

The official program confirms dedicated DJ sets by Bryan Michael Cox, DJ Miss Milan and DJ Aktive, complementing the live performances throughout the voyage.

Their inclusion connects the concert experience with the wider culture of R&B DJing.

For decades, DJs have helped shape the way audiences discover and experience R&B through radio, clubs, parties and dancefloors. Their role extends beyond playing individual records, bringing together different musical eras and creating connections between established classics and contemporary sounds.

The combination of live performances and DJ sets reflects this continuing relationship within R&B culture.

Rock The Bells Expands Its Music Cruise Concept

Founded by LL Cool J, Rock The Bells has established a strong identity around celebrating HipHop history and culture.

The I Need Luv Cruise extends that approach into a dedicated R&B event, building on the existing Rock The Bells Cruise: A HipHop Experience.

HipHop and R&B have shared close musical connections for decades, particularly through DJ culture, radio programming, collaborations and live entertainment.

The new cruise places R&B at the center of its own experience while maintaining those broader cultural connections.

Miami Departure and October 2026 Booking Dates

The I Need Luv Cruise is scheduled to depart from Miami, Florida, on November 15, 2027, before visiting Nassau, Bahamas, and returning on November 19.

The Norwegian Jewel will host the four-night program, combining live entertainment, DJ performances and additional onboard activities.

Presale registration and booking periods are scheduled throughout October 2026. General public bookings are expected to open on October 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, subject to remaining availability.

Additional artists and special guests are expected to be announced.
