Biography

Miss DJ QT, born in the Netherlands with Surinamese-Javanese roots, grew up in a musical family where soul, country, and funk were part ofeveryday life. Her stage name stands for “Quality Time” – a reflection of her deep passion for music.

Her DJ journey began in 1996 when she fell in love with turntables. She quickly started spinning in clubs across the Netherlands and performed alongside legendary DJ Moortje. After a short break, she made a strong comeback in 2003, securing residencies and performing at festivals and venues across Belgium, Germany, Africa, Suriname, USA, the Caribbean and Asia.

Miss DJ QT has shared the stage with artists such as Akon, Montell Jordan, 112, Blackstreet and Fatman Scoop, and appeared in several music videos. In 2008, she launched her own label: Quality Time Entertainment, introducing creative concepts like Chix in da Mix, Asian Sensation, and Kids in da Mix. As a pioneer, she provides a platform for female DJs, MCs, and artists, while also inspiring and guiding the next generation through music.

With her unique blend of R&B, dancehall, hip hop and classics, Miss DJ QT continues to captivate audiences. Always stylish, always Quality.
