Biography

Filippo Boschin, also known as Double Deejay, was born artistically in Bologna in 2002. Within a few years, he performed at the biggest clubs in Bologna (Matis, Capannina, Numa, Giostra’) and along the Riviera. It was actually from the Riviera that he received an engagement at Papeete Beach. He has been a Special Guest at some of the most important hip hop clubs such as Yab in Florence, and has performed at live shows for numerous international artists (Lil Jon, Fat Joe, Neyo, T-Pain) and Italian artists (Noyz Narcos, Jake la Furia, Fabri Fibra). In 2018, he met Gianluca Vacchi, who invited him to perform at Amnesia in Ibiza for the Vibra party. In that context, he also opened for live shows by Luis Fonsi, J Balvin, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, Sebastian Yatra, and, of course, for all of Gianluca Vacchi’s DJ sets. Currently, he is the resident DJ of prominent hip hop-reggaeton events such as Besame and Swaggami. He has been collaborating with them for several years. He is also part of the Tropicall event, which takes place every Sunday at Papeete Beach. Recently, he has focused on producing music and as a beatmaker, he has produced “Waiting” in collaboration with Nicola Schenetti, “Dale Pa Tra” with LiVido (both released by Sony for the Papeete Beach Compilation), and “Siento” featuring Ricky Jo.
