NEWS DISTRIBUTION – BOOKING & REFUND TERMS

1. SERVICE PROVIDER AND SCOPE

News Distribution is provided by Matthias Valdorf, operating DJ-League. Full business identification and contact information are available in the DJ-League Legal Notice.

These terms apply to bookings of DJ-League’s editorial News Distribution service.

The service consists of:

• Editorial review and preparation of one news submission
• Creation and publication of one dedicated news article on DJ-League.net
• Editorial and search engine optimization
• Relevant genre and geographic categorization
• Accompanying promotion through DJ-League’s designated own social media channels
• A dedicated article URL

No specific reach, impressions, engagement, search engine ranking or commercial outcome is guaranteed.

2. ELIGIBLE CONTENT

News Distribution is exclusively intended for relevant news concerning HipHop, R&B, Oldschool and Dancehall and their associated DJ, artist, radio, event and music industries.

Accepted content includes:

• Concerts, festivals and live music events
• DJ performances, tours and event announcements
• Radio shows, special broadcasts and station developments
• Relevant DJ, artist and music industry news
• Awards, achievements and career milestones
• Relevant community and cultural events
• Other music-related news approved by DJ-League

The following content is not accepted:

• Single, EP, album, mixtape and music video release promotions, which belong in the DJ-League Promo Pool
• Content primarily promoting music genres outside DJ-League’s defined focus
• Unrelated commercial advertising or product promotions
• Political campaigning or unrelated political content
• Misleading, unverifiable or unlawful claims
• Content infringing copyright, privacy or other third-party rights
• Spam, duplicate submissions or content without genuine news value

DJ-League reserves the right to determine whether submitted content meets its editorial requirements.

3. PRICING

The following prices apply per News Distribution booking:

• Non-Members: €59.90
• Standard Members: €39.90
• Eligible VIP Members: Free

All listed prices are final prices and include applicable VAT.

No shipping fees or additional charges apply.

Membership benefits require verification of the relevant membership status.

The public Non-Member booking process is available at €59.90. Member-specific booking options are available only when separately enabled by DJ-League.

4. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Customers submit their news and complete the applicable payment through the online booking process.

Payment is processed exclusively through PayPal.

Before placing a binding order, customers are provided with the applicable service details, total price, contractual terms and statutory withdrawal information.

The contract is concluded when DJ-League expressly accepts the customer’s booking.

An automated acknowledgment of submission or payment receipt does not, by itself, constitute editorial acceptance or a guarantee of publication.

DJ-League verifies successful payment before beginning the agreed service.

Payment does not guarantee editorial approval.

5. EDITORIAL REVIEW AND APPROVAL

All submitted content is reviewed for compliance with DJ-League’s editorial requirements.

DJ-League may:

• Accept suitable submissions
• Request additional information or corrections
• Make reasonable editorial, linguistic or formatting adjustments
• Reject submissions that do not meet the applicable requirements

Customers are responsible for providing sufficiently complete and accurate information.

DJ-League maintains editorial independence and is not obligated to reproduce customer-submitted wording without modification.

6. PUBLICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA DISTRIBUTION

Following editorial approval and the legally permitted commencement of services, DJ-League prepares and publishes the accepted article.

The service includes the agreed accompanying promotion through DJ-League’s designated own social media channels.

Publication dates depend on editorial scheduling unless a specific date has been expressly agreed.

DJ-League does not guarantee particular reach, visibility, engagement, website traffic or commercial results.

Paid promotional content will be identified as advertising or sponsored content in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTENT RIGHTS

Customers confirm that submitted information is accurate and lawful to the best of their knowledge.

Customers must possess all necessary rights, licences and permissions for submitted texts, images, photographs, logos and other materials.

Customers grant DJ-League a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish and distribute submitted materials to the extent necessary to perform the agreed service.

Customers must not submit materials that unlawfully infringe the rights of third parties.

Mandatory statutory liability rules remain unaffected.

8. CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS

Where a statutory consumer withdrawal right applies, consumers generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving any reason.

Detailed withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form are provided separately.

Consumers may expressly request that DJ-League begin providing the service before the statutory withdrawal period expires.

For paid service contracts, the withdrawal right expires upon complete performance of the service if the consumer has previously:

• Expressly agreed to the commencement of services before expiry of the withdrawal period
• Acknowledged that the withdrawal right will be lost once the service has been fully performed

If a consumer withdraws before the service has been fully performed, statutory rules concerning proportionate compensation for services already provided may apply, provided the applicable legal requirements have been met.

If the consumer does not request early commencement, DJ-League will not begin the service before the statutory withdrawal period has expired.

Mandatory statutory consumer withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

9. IMMEDIATE SERVICE COMMENCEMENT

Customers may voluntarily request that DJ-League begin providing the News Distribution service during the statutory withdrawal period.

This request is made through a separate, non-preselected declaration during the booking process.

Requesting immediate commencement does not guarantee publication at a particular date or time.

For the purposes of the agreed service, complete performance requires both:

• Publication of the agreed news article
• Completion of the included social media distribution

The withdrawal right does not expire merely because editorial work has started or an article has been published without completion of the remaining agreed services.

10. REJECTION AND REFUNDS

DJ-League reserves the right to reject unsuitable submissions for legitimate editorial, legal or technical reasons.

If a paid submission is rejected and no agreed service is provided, the payment received for that service will be refunded.

DJ-League does not charge a separate rejection fee merely because a submission is unsuitable.

Where a statutory withdrawal right is exercised, refunds and any applicable compensation for services already provided are governed by the relevant statutory provisions.

Refunds required by law will be issued within the applicable statutory deadlines and through the legally required payment method.

Mandatory consumer rights and contractual remedies remain unaffected.

11. SERVICE COMPLETION

The News Distribution service is fully performed once the agreed news article has been published and the accompanying social media distribution has been completed.

Technical availability, reach and continued visibility on independent third-party platforms are outside DJ-League’s full control.

Mandatory statutory rights concerning defective or incomplete performance remain unaffected.

12. CORRECTIONS AND CONTENT CHANGES

DJ-League may make reasonable editorial, factual, linguistic, formatting and technical adjustments.

Requests for additional changes after publication will be reviewed individually.

Any separately chargeable additional service requires a separate agreement.

Statutory correction, deletion and other mandatory rights remain unaffected.

13. ORDER DOCUMENTATION AND CONTRACT CONFIRMATION

DJ-League documents relevant booking and payment information, including:

• Submission reference
• Submitted customer information
• Applicable service and price
• PayPal payment reference
• Recorded contractual declarations
• Early commencement request, where provided

Customers receive electronic information regarding their submission.

Following conclusion of the contract, DJ-League provides the legally required contractual confirmation and consumer information on a durable medium within the applicable statutory timeframe.

Personal data is processed in accordance with DJ-League’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

14. ELECTRONIC WITHDRAWAL FUNCTION

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, customers may exercise that right through DJ-League’s electronic withdrawal function:

The withdrawal function is available without requiring a customer account or login.

Customers receive an electronic acknowledgment of receipt containing the submitted withdrawal information and the date and time of receipt.

The acknowledgment confirms receipt of the declaration and does not, by itself, determine its legal effectiveness.

15. STATUTORY RIGHTS AND LEGAL INFORMATION

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts mandatory statutory consumer rights.

The separate News Distribution Withdrawal Policy and Model Withdrawal Form provide additional information concerning the exercise of statutory withdrawal rights.

These terms apply to News Distribution bookings and do not replace the separate contractual conditions governing DJ-League’s Promo Pool services.
