Biography

Born in Naples, Italy, in 1990, DJ-Steer is a sonic storyteller whose roots are deeply embedded in the golden era of Hip Hop. His journey didn’t start in a studio, but in the raw, vibrant energy of the streets, fueled by the relentless bars of American and Italian Hip Hop legends.

At the age of 13, Steer found his true calling: the turntables. What began as a teenage obsession quickly evolved into a lifelong craft. By 16, he was already commanding the booths of local clubs, transforming from a student of the culture into a rising force in the nightlife scene.

DJ-Steer’s performances are more than just sets; they are a masterclass in versatility. While Hip Hop remains his North Star, his sound has evolved through years of technical experimentation. Beyond the decks, he is the Official DJ for Family Addiction Tattoo Studio, a prestigious hub that houses some of the most elite tattoo artists in Italy and across Europe. This partnership bridges the gap between the rhythm of the turntables and the mastery of the needle, celebrating the very best of street culture.

The Present

Today, he stands as a cornerstone of the Neapolitan urban scene. As the Resident DJ for Hidden, a collective dedicated to promoting the finest Hip Hop and R&B experiences, DJ-Steer continues to honor the roots of the culture while pushing the boundaries of the modern urban sound.
