Biography

DJ $B (DJ SB) is a 20-year-old vinyl-only selector based in Zürich and Aargau, specializing in a sound rooted in 90s Boom-Bap and soulful underground Hip-Hop and R&B.

Focusing on technical foundation and deep-crate selection, $B has built a versatile track record across the Swiss scene. From the cozy and curated, vinyl-only environment of Kasheme and ChaChaCha to high-energy sets for the LMNZH-Jam and BnB Cypher Open Mic, his experience spans festival stages, regional cyphers, and concert support.

Whether behind the decks at a basketball game in Zofingen or a lounge in Zürich, his approach remains the same: 1200s, a crate of wax, and a focus on the craft.
