Biography
Growing up my house was filled with music ! my Mother is a real Soul Sista, so I would always hear soul music in the house. My 2 older Brothers listened to alternative music plus Rock. When Hip Hop hit the scene and I really got into it I realized they sampled music to make these records that I loved, so I started fishing for songs that could be sampled for a good record.
in that process I started learning how to DJ when I was 15 (1988). I didn’t do much with my new skills(1998). went to video production school in Los Angeles, because I felt like I wasn’t that great of an MC.
got married (2000) got separated (2007). when I realized its all about me again, I asked myself what makes me happy ? how can I get back to who I am after loosing my identity in a relationship ? I’ll start DJing and this time I’m going to take it really Serious.
I am an o’school guy and this was right before Serato, so I used to shop at Amoeba Records on Sunset Blvd in California and started DJing at RoofTop Parties in Los Angeles and Bars in Long Beach CA.
I Moved back to Baltimore in 2009 and have been Rockin ever since ! I’ve DJ’d throughout the DMV, Pennsylvania, the Carolina’s down to MIAMI.
I specialize in R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, POP, Latin, Hood Rat Ish and All That ! I DJ Home Comings, Proms, Birthday Parties, Weddings, Wake’s, Quinceanera’s, Baby Showers all the way to my Wife is about to come home from Jail events.
