JAY-Z Brings Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg to SoFi Stadium Finale

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performing together at Coachella 2012.

JAY-Z closed his JAŸ-Z30 concert series in California with special appearances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Too $hort, bringing East Coast and West Coast HipHop together for a celebration of three decades of music.

The final concert took place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on October 24, 2026. It marked the second of two Los Angeles-area performances and the conclusion of JAY-Z’s anniversary concert run celebrating 30 years since the release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.

The evening opened with JAY-Z performing “The Watcher 2” before welcoming Oakland rapper Too $hort for his signature track “Blow the Whistle.”

Later, Snoop Dogg appeared during “Murder Was the Case,” followed by Dr. Dre for a sequence of West Coast HipHop classics.

Together, Dre and Snoop performed a medley featuring “The Next Episode,” “California Love,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.”

The guest performances brought some of California’s most recognizable rap recordings into a concert built around JAY-Z’s own New York HipHop legacy.

The JAŸ-Z30 concert series commemorated the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, originally released in 1996.

Throughout the final night, JAY-Z moved between different periods of his career, including performances of “Dead Presidents,” “D’Evils,” “99 Problems” and “Empire State of Mind.”

The show also included a tribute to the late Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, incorporating elements of his music into JAY-Z’s performance.

The October 23 opening concert featured a different group of guests, including Scarface, John Legend, DJ Khaled and Blue Ivy Carter, who accompanied her father on piano.

The significance of the finale extended beyond the individual guest appearances.

JAY-Z’s New York roots, Too $hort’s Bay Area history and the Los Angeles legacy of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg represent distinct regional traditions that helped shape HipHop across several decades.

Their appearance together reflected how those regional sounds remain connected within contemporary live HipHop culture.

For DJs and music audiences worldwide, the concert offered another example of how classic recordings continue to connect different generations.

JAY-Z ended the evening with “Encore,” closing a concert series built around his musical legacy and the wider history of HipHop.
