Battle Pro 2026 Brings International Breaking Finals to Paris

PARIS, FRANCE – OCTOBER 10, 2026 – International HipHop culture takes center stage in the French capital today as Battle Pro 2026 brings its 26th edition to the Théâtre du Châtelet. More than 100 international breakers are expected to compete in an event that brings together world-class breaking, live DJing and HipHop culture.

The international final features competitors from multiple countries, with established crews and emerging talents sharing the stage in one of Paris’s major cultural venues.

International Crews Compete in Three Categories

The 2026 competition features three main categories: Crew vs Crew, 2 vs 2 B-Boys & B-Girls, and 1 vs 1 Kid.

Among the confirmed crews are The Saxonz from Germany, GSB Squad from Japan, Chasseurs 2 Primes from France and CPLP Team, representing Portugal and Brazil.

Individual and duo battles add another international dimension, with participants representing countries including China, Japan, Poland, Sweden, Argentina and the Netherlands.

An international judging panel will evaluate the performances, while additional live shows complement the competitive program.

DJs Renegade and Senka Bring the Sound

Music remains an essential part of the breaking experience.

For this year’s international final, UK DJ Renegade and France’s DJ Senka are confirmed as the event’s DJs. French MCs Maleek and Youval will host the competition.

Their involvement highlights the relationship between DJing and breaking, two fundamental elements of HipHop culture.

In breaking battles, DJs do more than provide background music. Their selections, timing and musical energy help shape the atmosphere in which dancers respond, improvise and compete.

Paris Celebrates International HipHop Culture

The event takes place at the Théâtre du Châtelet as part of the Urban Châtelet festival program.

With participants representing different continents, Battle Pro demonstrates how HipHop culture continues to connect communities through music, dance and artistic expression.

For the international DJ community, events like Battle Pro also highlight the importance of preserving the cultural connection between DJs, dancers and MCs.

The competition is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM local time on October 10, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.
