Bogotá, Colombia, is preparing for two days of HipHop culture as Hip Hop al Parque returns on October 24 and 25, 2026. The festival’s 28th edition will bring together 28 performing acts, including international artists, Colombian talent and locally selected DJs, at Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar. Admission is free.
Organized by Bogotá‘s Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes), the event places the neighborhood at the center of its cultural identity under the theme En la esquina se escribe la historia — roughly translated as History Is Written on the Corner.
International HipHop Meets Bogotá’s Local Scene
The international lineup includes Rah Digga & Rampage from the United States, Da Guedes from Brazil, Hispana from Mexico, Portavoz & DJ Jopsen from Chile and Potsikei from France.
Colombian performers such as Ali A.K.A. Mind, Lianna, Izla and Zetazeta will appear alongside artists representing Bogotá‘s local HipHop communities.
The programme combines established names with emerging performers rather than focusing exclusively on headline artists.
Four Local DJs Take the Stage
DJ culture is a dedicated part of this year’s programme.
DJ Huex, DJ Karl, DJ Revueltaz and Dr. Skratch are among the 12 artists selected through the Hip Hop al Parque 2025 grant programme, which includes eight MCs and four DJs.
Their participation highlights turntablism, mixing and scratching as essential parts of HipHop‘s musical identity.
The inclusion of these DJs also gives audiences an opportunity to experience the skills behind the music, not only the performers in front of the microphone.
More Than a Music Festival
Hip Hop al Parque 2026 extends beyond live performances.
The programme includes the BIVA international breaking competition, urban art, graffiti activities, cultural workshops, independent businesses and literature initiatives.
This broader approach reflects HipHop as a culture connecting music, dance, visual creativity and community identity.
For Bogotá, the festival also provides a public platform where local artists can share space with international performers.
Connecting Local Culture With Global Discovery
Bogotá already has an established place within the international HipHop community. Its local DJ scene is also represented through DJ-League’s public Bogotá network hub, which currently lists eight DJs based in the Colombian capital.
There is no announced DJ-League participation in the festival.
The wider significance of Hip Hop al Parque lies in its continued commitment to supporting creative expression while connecting local culture with artists from other countries.
The festival will take place on October 24–25 at Parque Metropolitano Simón Bolívar. Canal Capital has also announced live coverage through its broadcasting and digital platforms.
Further information and programme details are available through the official Hip Hop al Parque website.
